Textured Polyester DTY (Draw Textured Yarn) is the backbone of modern synthetic textiles. Wujiang Wanteng Baofu manufactures premium DTY by processing POY (Partially Oriented Yarn) through texturing machines that simultaneously twist and draw the fiber.

This process transforms flat polyester into a crimped, elastic, and voluminous yarn that mimics natural fibers. Our DTY is renowned for its excellent color fastness, uniform crimp stability, and versatility. We supply DTY in various intermingle points (NIM, SIM, HIM) to suit different weaving and knitting speeds and fabric styles.

  • Q: What is the difference between SIM and HIM?
  • A: SIM (Slight Intermingle) has fewer knots per meter and is softer, often used for knitting. HIM (High Intermingle) has many knots, making the yarn tighter and stronger, which is preferred for weaving warps to prevent snagging.
  • Q: Can you produce Cationic DTY?
  • A: Yes, we supply Cationic DTY which can be dyed at lower temperatures and allows for two-tone effects when woven with normal polyester.
  • Q: Do you offer dope dyed DTY?
  • A: Yes, Dope Dyed Black is a stock item. Other colors can be customized with a higher MOQ.
